Just a few spaces left on our tours of this unique battery this Saturday. This battery is hidden away in the heart of Bembridge. Tours take place at 11 and 2. Your tour includes not only the well preserved battery and gun positions, but also the Thornycroft test tank.

Join us at the Needles New Battery on Friday, where we will be giving tours of the secret Highdown rocket test site and learn how the UK had its own rockets and put a satellite into space! Yesterday, we attended the Remembrance ceremony in

Yesterday, we attended the Remembrance ceremony in Cowes to remember the ORP Blyskawica's defence of Cowes and East Cowes on the night of 4/5th May 1942 when 70 civilians tragically lost their lives. We also remember the ORP Grom which was lost off Norway on 4th May 1940 with a loss of 56 of her crew.
